Summary

Aviso Wealth is hiring a Regional Insurance Consultant for their Insurance team. The role can be fully remote or based in an office. The consultant will be responsible for achieving sales objectives within assigned territories of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, providing assistance to Credit Unions and advisors, and maintaining current knowledge of key products and services. Candidates must have a university degree or equivalent experience, a life license with CLU or CFP, 5+ years of sales experience in the insurance industry, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent or combination of education and experience
  • Life License is required along with CLU or CFP
  • 5+ years of solid sales experience in the insurance industry including life, health & wellness, and segregated funds

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual territory sales plans and manage expenses to achieve insurance sales objectives
  • Provide direct assistance to Credit Unions and insurance advisors through educational seminars, workshops, joint field work, and practice management assistance
  • Manage sales costs within the assigned territory and provide timely reporting
  • Maintain current knowledge of all key products and services, understand associated benefits and constraints, and optimize advisor sales activity
  • Liaise with Credit Union Wealth Leaders to help assess advisor development plans and provide sales coaching
  • Create, coordinate and deliver sales presentations, workshops and training to Credit Union advisors
  • Identify trends within the assigned territory and among Credential’s Credit Union partners
  • Collaborate with other Aviso and Credit Union employees to develop account strategies and tactics
  • Support holistic wealth programs which can impact and support insurance sales growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to leverage individual, team and Aviso goals
  • Strong ability to pick up new technology and experience with the MS office Suite
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals while remaining within company and regulatory requirements
  • Active listening skills to identify needs and ability to influence
  • Proven experience growing business and retaining partners by exceeding customer expectations
