Requirements
- Extensive background in inventory management or a related field
- Proven experience leading time-sensitive inventory projects
- Experience training and coaching team members
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with asset management software
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy
- A curious nature to identify and solve problems
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to contribute as needed to complete responsibilities by fixed deadlines
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities
- Accurately record receipt of all inbound deliveries into ERP system in a timely manner, noting any discrepancies for immediate attention
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and other IT assets within the data center, including servers, networking equipment, and other hardware and materials
- Onboard and train personnel to assume inventory responsibilities following completion of the data centerβs build phase
- Conduct audits of the asset inventory to verify accuracy and completeness, and make necessary updates to the inventory records
- Collaborate with the operations team to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that hardware and materials are available when needed and optimizing utilization
- Coordinate the shipping and receiving of IT materials and ensure their safe storage and distribution within the data center and to other facilities
- Keep detailed records of inventory, shipments, and audits, and provide regular reports to management
- Utilize inventory management software and other tools to maintain accurate records
- Maintain open and effective communication with various teams, including Operations, Engineering, IT, Procurement, and Finance to ensure smooth workflow
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and take proactive measures to prevent inventory-related issues
- Be available to travel extensively within the designated region to lead build-specific inventory and training at various data center locations
