Join SmarterDx as a Regional Sales Executive and play a pivotal role in expanding our presence within the West region's healthcare landscape. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will spearhead the introduction of our clinical AI solution to new hospitals and health systems. This fully remote position, open to candidates in several states, demands consistent top sales performance and expertise in consultative selling to healthcare executives. You will manage the sales pipeline, cultivate key relationships, and ensure accurate CRM data. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare market, particularly within CDI/Coding, Revenue Cycle, and Finance. Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated sales success with growing HIT companies, preferably with SaaS software offerings to hospital and health systems, with a history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Understands the healthcare market, including in-depth knowledge of the acute care setting, with an emphasis on CDI/Coding, Revenue Cycle and Finance
- Independent self-starter
- Demonstrated success in hunting/developing new prospects
- Has successfully sold new innovative technology to hospital and health system leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport while quickly and confidently gaining respect of others
- This includes strong selling skills (in person and virtual) in one-on-one and group settings, and superior listening and probing skills
- Comfortable with the tools needed for successful remote sales (Google suite, MS Office suite, Salesforce, and various Video platforms)
- Excellent negotiation and communications skills and a strong business acumen required
- Must excel in an entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities
- Introduce new hospitals and health systems to SmarterDx's clinical AI solution
- Target key decision-makers such as CFOs, SVP/VP Revenue Cycle, CQOs, and CDI/Coding leadership
- Develop account plans for targeted prospects, which includes identifying key stakeholders, understanding their organizational structure, and aligning SmarterDx's solutions with their strategic priorities
- Cultivate senior peer relationships within prospective client organizations
- Build strong relationships with executives in Clinical Documentation/Coding, Revenue Cycle, Finance teams is crucial
- Progress opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Identify internal champions, understanding prospect needs, and addressing concerns related to budget, approval, ROI, and timelines
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Customer Success, Integration and others
- Maintain accuracy of pipeline accounts, contacts and opportunities in SmarterDx's CRM (Salesforce)
- Understand the SmarterDx solution, sales process, and messaging
- Continuously learn about and articulate the value proposition of SmarterDx's clinical AI solutions
- Participate in relevant industry associations and events
Preferred Qualifications
- Selling CDI or other mid-revenue cycle solutions to hospitals and health systems
- Established relationships with target accounts within the assigned territory
