Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience in the agriculture or fresh produce industry, preferably with a focus on value-added or fresh-cut products
- Proven success in territory management and broker relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to work independently
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the East region
- Strong knowledge of retail and food service distribution channels
Responsibilities
- Promote sell and lead all fresh-cut business with retail and food service accounts across the East region
- Prepare and deliver engaging, in-person product presentations to customers to gain new business, increase existing business and explain the over all value of Duda as a supplier
- Maintain strong relationships with current customers to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business
- Oversee, manage and support full-service food brokers operating within the assigned territory
- Establish and manage a professional, efficient home office setup
- Develop and maintain a cost-effective travel schedule to maximize face-to-face customer interactions
- Identify and communicate new product or packaging opportunities to internal teams and customers
- Represent DFFF at regional and national produce and agriculture industry trade shows and expositions
