Summary

Join BigID, a leading innovative tech startup in data security, compliance, privacy, and AI data management, as a Regional Sales Manager - Public Sector in the UK. Drive deals in the market by identifying, developing, and executing a comprehensive strategy to close new business and drive expansion growth. Lead sales cycles from discovery to close using a value-based selling approach, and manage an inside sales team and marketing efforts. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and account intelligence in Salesforce, reporting on sales activity to senior management. This role requires a proven track record of closing six and seven-figure software licensing deals and experience selling enterprise software to mid-size to large organizations in the Public Sector.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication, able to articulate and present well in front of technical and executive level stakeholders
  • You will have 5-10+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software to mid-size to large organizations across the Public Sector
  • Proven track record of successfully closing six and seven figure software licensing deals with prospects and customers in the defined territory
  • You have a measurable track record in new business development and overachieving sales targets
  • Prior experience selling data security
  • Experience in selling complex enterprise software solutions and ability to adapt in fast-growing and changing environments
  • Demonstrate curiosity & agility in adapting to changing customer needs, product offerings and market trends

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and execute a comprehensive strategy to close new business and drive expansion growth with customers & prospects aligned to strategic initiatives across privacy, security & artificial intelligence (AI)
  • Drive outbound prospecting campaigns to generate high quality meetings with key target personas (CISO, CDO & DPO)
  • Direct an inside sales team and marketing to uncover opportunities in territory
  • Prepare and maintain an accurate sales forecast for your territory
  • Lead sales cycles from discovery to close using a value based selling approach
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account intelligence in Salesforce, including regular forecasting of business opportunities to sales and executive leadership
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
  • Responsible for territory quota and named accounts in a defined territory

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity following sales methodologies like MEDDPICC is also advantageous
