Summary
Join Kuoni Tumlare as a Business Development/Sales Manager and expand our Destination Management Business in East India. Based remotely in Chennai or Bangalore, this role requires business travel. You will be responsible for expanding Kuoni Tumlare's DMC business in South India, developing incentive/leisure/ad hoc group business, managing key clients, and working with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of B2B sales experience in the travel domain, existing relationships with agents in South India, and excellent communication skills. The position offers a 3-month probation period, annual bonuses, long service awards, an in-house LMS, paid leaves, and various company events.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in B2B Sales in Travel Domain
- Existing/Active relationship with agents based in South India Region β Tamil Nadu & Karnataka
- Sales driven & go getter attitude
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (both verbal & written)
- Local language (Tamil/ Kannada) is must
- Well versed with the specified market
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Based in Chennai/ Bangalore. Preferably Chennai
- Keen on traveling local and PAN India as per business needs
Responsibilities
- Expanding Kuoni Tumlare DMC (Destination Management) business and presence in South India Region β Tamil Nadu & Karnataka
- Development of Incentive/Leisure/Ad hoc group business
- Account management of existing Key client
- Working closely with internal stake holders to ensure excellent service delivery
- Working closely with AR (Accounts Receivables) team for timely collection of payment
- Closing of business as per designated budget & guidelines
- Reporting to Country Manager
Preferred Qualifications
Europe DMC (Destination Management) experience will be preferred
