Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Security, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field
  • 7+ years of related security professional experience
  • Relatable experience in a large corporate environment
  • Strong strategic thinking, governance, and advisory capabilities
  • Prior regional level experience
  • Strong leadership and crisis management skills
  • Familiarity with security technology systems emergency response protocols
  • Strong project and process thinking skills
  • Possess strong sense of integrity, team spirit; ethical and discrete
  • Self-initiative, reliability, and assertiveness
  • Good stakeholder management skills and adeptness in dealing with people from different cultures and hierarchical levels
  • Willingness to travel, both nationally and internationally, 50% of time
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

Responsibilities

  • Implementation and further development of security standards and processes
  • Support site security teams, ensuring consistent application of security protocols
  • Regular collaboration and coordination with the central security team as well as with local and central business and support functions
  • Proactive security risk landscape monitoring, assessment, mitigation and management
  • Development, implementation, and professional management and control of security concepts
  • Emergency & Crisis Management
  • Supply chain security
  • Event security

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience specifically in the field of security ideally in security authorities and/or Corporate Security in a multinational manufacturing corporation and multicultural environment
  • Post-graduate degree
  • One or more of the following certificates: Certified Protection Professional, Professional Certified Investigator, Physical Security Professional, Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP), ATAP Certified Threat Manager (CTM)
