Summary

You will coordinate and deliver releases across various environments, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or 10+ years of experience without a degree is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and active listening skills, and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment OR No Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment
- Ability to work in a demanding and deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Agile development experience
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government officials
Responsibilities
- Documenting risk to delivery timelines and communicating impacts to schedule immediately to all stakeholders (ITPMs, Product Owners, User Testers, and development teams)
- Proposing and executing mitigation plans to minimize performance and/or delivery schedule impacts
- Collaborating with release managers from the government agency, external stakeholders and organizations, and internal program stakeholders, to identify dependencies and impacts to program release schedules
- Working with the Requirements Team and UAT testers from the Business to communicate development completion dates and testing schedules
- Working with the Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Team Lead, Scrum Masters, Lead Software Security Developer, POAM Project Manager, and Cloud Architect/Engineers to develop release plans, deploy release plan bug fixes, and address Root Cause Analysis (RCAs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Creating guidelines to train team members
- Using Confluence or similar
- Communicating key project commitments, plans, changes, and requirements to teams
- Measuring and monitoring the progress of releases after deployment
- Planning the release of project deliverables
- Managing risks that may affect release scope
- Constructing product roadmaps in a requirements tool (such as Jira) for each project to have a centralized view of all releases
- Making improvements to configuration management methodologies
- Collecting feedback from different teams and customers for review
- Maintaining documents related to procedures on build and release
- Ensuring releases meet acceptance criteria as stated in the requirements
- Providing weekly updates on release activities, and resolving issues regarding release quality and schedule
- Determining how third-party applications, infrastructure updates, and defect backlogs affect releases
- Identifying project dependencies that could alter the course of the release
- And with configuration management including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, and configuration documentation
