As a Release Manager, you will manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, create release plans, coordinate deployments, automate processes, monitor pipeline health, manage configurations, collaborate with infrastructure teams, implement governance, ensure security and compliance, serve as a primary point of contact, provide updates, maintain documentation, and act as a trusted advisor to the client. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ Years of experience working in release management, DevOps, or software engineering
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps Services including Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Test Plans
- Strong knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a natural ability to untangle complex and ambiguous information
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and foster genuine collaboration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced consulting environment, often balancing multiple priorities
- Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle across various environments
- Create and maintain detailed release plans and calendars aligned with business goals
- Coordinate deployment activities with product teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless releases
- Help automate and optimize build, test, and deployment processes
- Monitor pipeline health and facilitate troubleshooting failures
- Manage and document release configurations across multiple environments
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure a consistent environment and availability
- Implement governance around change management, version control, and deployment approvals
- Ensure releases meet security and compliance standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related activities
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to releases, change logs, and deployment runbooks
- Act as a trusted advisor and relationship builder for our client, fostering strong, long-term partnerships across various departments and leadership levels
- Proactively manage client expectations, navigate evolving requirements, and resolve conflicts in a constructive and outcomes-focused manner
- Continuously seek opportunities to demonstrate the clientβs expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional value to the client
