Summary
Join Relocity as a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) and become a trusted partner to our clients and their employees! You will manage and drive the entire relocation process, from moving and settling employees to helping them build a great lifestyle in their new city. This remote position offers a flexible schedule. You will develop working relationships with relocating employees, providing expert local knowledge, housing and school research, and assistance with DMV and banking setup. You'll create customized area tours and reports, manage multiple client relocations, and handle administrative duties. The role requires strong customer service skills, experience with technology tools, and a commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Requirements
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States
- Extensive knowledge of local real estate market, education, local registrations
- Has relocated or has helped others relocate
- Has lived in Chicago for 5+ years
- Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Experience managing own schedule and working remotely
- Experience with project/time management and scheduling
- Great customer service skills with friendly and outgoing personality
- Flexible and able to work weekends
- Owns a vehicle/license and is able to self-drive
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
Responsibilities
- Develop working relationships with the relocating employees and provide services such as: Offering expert knowledge of the city
- Conducting local housing and school research
- Providing DMV and banking setup assistance
- Recommending a wide range of social and culture activities
- Build rapport, communicate, research and deliver customized information and the best recommendations in a timely manner
- Create customized area tours and client reports using Microsoft Office or GSuite products
- Meet with the relocating employees (either in person, by phone or using technology) to discuss issues connected with the relocation
- Manage multiple client relocations at any given time and perform other administrative duties, as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associateβs degree (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience with technology tools such as Microsoft Office, Google GSuite, and CRM systems
