Remote Agent Contracting Specialist

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-year previous office experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and general technical troubleshooting
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Review contracting and appointment paperwork from new agencies and submit agency transfers for completeness
• Follow up with agents and agencies to obtain background information where applicable
• Set up agencies to ensure proper hierarchy and accurate commission payments
• Request missing information for Agent/Agency as needed via email or phone call
• Enter and update agent licensing and carrier appointment information into databases, contracting spreadsheets, etc
• Assist with contracting, appointment or licensing questions from internal and external parties via email or phone call
• Create and maintain an electronic filing system for all agent related documentation
• Maintain compliance with all standards, controls, policies and practices from various carriers, DOI’s and TPA’s
• Update demographic information, changes in commission assignment in the appropriate systems
• Process requests within internal systems as well as working with external TPA’s/carriers to process agent of record changes for agent of record changes
• Protect the privacy of all information received in the department
• Other job duties assigned by the Producer Contracting Manager
