Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or related
  • 5-7 years of experience in analytics, with a focus on consulting or business strategy
  • Strong slant to being inquisitive, asking tough questions, and seeking insights to drive business outcomes
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with a proven ability to mentor and develop talent
  • Proficient in analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar
  • Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for their professional development
  • Oversee analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights
  • As a leader of a internal business support function & work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into complex data sets to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper data infrastructure and systems are in place to support analytics initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes, tools, and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a consulting firm or with consulting engagements
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment

Benefits

$100,000 - $115,000 a year
