Join Brightwheel's Education team as an Assessment and Content Developer to contribute to the development and refinement of an authentic assessment system that measures children’s development across the year.

Requirements

• Degree in Developmental Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
• Experience in curriculum and assessment development outside of the classroom
• Experience with implementing research studies
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Innovative mindset with a passion for enhancing early childhood education
• Strong project management skills

Responsibilities

• Create a valid and reliable, authentic, curriculum-based assessment for children from infant-preschool
• Follow best practices in assessment design and develop an assessment guide along with supporting resources and materials
• Contribute to curriculum writing and revision of standards from an assessment and child development perspective
• Ensure alignment between assessment and curriculum
• Work with a third party to measure the validity and reliability of the assessment
• Analyze data and trends to inform revisions
• Provide expertise in assessment professional development and contribute to internal training initiatives
