Remote Big Data DBA

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing Clickhouse
• 3+ years of experience managing databases: MySQL/MariaDB
• Understanding of core data structure and database concepts
• Proven experience in monitoring, optimizing, and problem-solving of production-grade databases
• Experience with ETL tools and processes
• 3+ years of extensive experience with SQL programming and SQL performance enhancements for large-scale databases
• 2+ years of experience working with a Linux environment writing scripts in Python

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and build product’s data lake and infrastructure
• Develop and adopt new tools to enhance and optimize data store performance and business logic
• Collaborate with developers to ensure data efficiency, reliability, and best practices
• Research and suggest new data store technologies and architecture
