Remote Database Administrator

Summary

Join us at LanguageWire as a seasoned DBA to support engineering teams in their day-to-day work and help them become more data-driven. You will be responsible for evangelizing and leveling up our engineering teams regarding their data and database, while also working closely with our Senior Director of Technology to build a solid data governance framework and define/execute our data strategy.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
• Solid data modelling skills, including conceptual, logical and physical models
• Good knowledge of cloud services (Azure & GCP) and DevOps engineering

Responsibilities

• Ensure the optimal operations of our products and services by being the hands-on expert that support our teams on with their databases and data needs
• Define LanguageWire’s data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data, and master data
• Drive the strategy execution across the entire tech organization by closely collaborating with other teams
