Remote Business Intelligence Analyst

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights, either in commercial or academic setting (must have)
• Knowledge of Python/R and desire to expand your knowledge
• Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics
• Experience in partnership with internal stakeholders
• Experience in leading and executing end to end BI projects
• Very good level of business English

Responsibilities

• Derive facts from data and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations
• Support the business with identifying opportunities and making intelligent, data-driven decisions
• Execute end-to-end BI projects and be the main point of contact for internal stakeholders
• Use (and develop!) a global database
• Create, automate and visualize reports and analysis for both top management and local teams
• Work with Redshift, Git, Tableau, Airflow daily
• Develop prediction/classification models using Python/R when independent in the role

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics or a related field
• Be able to take a step back from the technicalities and examine them through a business lens
• Be open to cooperating with a lot of people from many teams in different countries
• Like to see instant effects of your work
• Be careful, diligent and detail-oriented
