Remote Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary

Join Omnidian as a Business Intelligence Analyst and lead the implementation of key areas of business intelligence strategy, collaborating with cross-functional leadership teams to provide insights and reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of strong experience with Sigma or similar BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• 3+ years of strong SQL skills for writing, updating, and optimizing queries
• 2+ years of proficiency in Python, particularly with analytical packages (pyspark, pandas, numpy, matplotlib)
• 2+ years of experience with Databricks or similar Data Lake/Warehouse tools (e.g., Snowflake, Bigquery, Redshift)
• Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets
• Experience in collaborating with data management and data governance teams to implement standards in BI tools

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership, operational, and engineering teams
• Understand needs and translate them into business and technical requirements
• Prioritize work according to impact and effort
• Communicate and deliver on prioritization with the team
• Design and implement datasets, metrics, and dashboards to support stakeholder needs
• Maintain and upgrade existing dashboards and data visualizations
• Collaborate with Data Management team to create and maintain data quality and governance
• Work with data engineering team to prioritize and contribute to ELT pipelines
• Distill Insights from cross functional business exposure into research that informs strategy
• Create data driven stories and presentations
• Communicate & present insights to key stakeholders to support business goals
