Remote Business Intelligence Analytics Engineer I

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or related field (preferred)
• A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Snowflake or other SQL based database (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience building reports and dashboards in a data visualisation tool such as Domo or Tableau (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience building data models using dbt (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Model and build source of truth datasets that are accurate, reliable and stable
• Work with analyst and other SMEs from different business units to ensure that raw data is interpreted well
• Develop and maintain new and existing transformation flows of dbt models and extend the EDM
• Design and implement testing frameworks with an emphasis on data quality
• Work on high priority projects around the business ensuring that new development and features are planned for and well captured in data models
• Educate and upskill analyst in utilisation of data models and interpretation of data definitions
• Create and maintain documentation in the relevant spaces
• Contribute to the Data Catalog, to support self service and SSOT analytics
• Follow the DataOps framework in the work we do
