Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Work with the existing team lead to drive work direction for a team of 9 Blog Project Managers and Coordinators
  • Represent the Blog Team to Microsoft stakeholders and the broader Cloud Marketing Blog and Social team
  • Serve as an operational subject matter expert by establishing, demonstrating, and sharing best practices with team
  • Direct regular documentation updates and detailed process improvements
  • Support blog content delivery and staffing plan for high priority Events and Announcements with key stakeholders and team members
  • May be asked to temporarily support Blog PM roles and responsibilities based on PTO coverage plans
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, account setup, and training of new hires, including interview participation
  • Manage performance, regular team meetings and 1:1s, escalations, and PTO coverage plans
  • Contribute to performance reviews in partnership with management

  • Oversee and manage Cloud Marketing Blogs and upcoming content pipeline
  • Drive Cloud Marketing blog channel and social amplification and distribution strategies

  • Collaborate with the Events and Announcements team to analyze ROI (reach, views, referral traffic, bounce rate) and provide future content optimization recommendations

We are currently looking for a Co-Lead for our Blog Content and Editorial Team to support Microsoft Cloud Paid Campaigns, Blog and Social. This world-class social and blog team operates 100+ social media channels and 20+ marketing blogs designed for developers, IT decision-makers, IT implementers, and business decision-makers. Each month, we publish over 100 blog posts per month to help educate and engage new and current users across the globe. Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, SQL Server, and Security are just a few examples of the 170 innovative products and services that comprise the Cloud Marketing Blog and Social ecosystem.

The Co-Lead will partner with the team’s current Lead to support the entire blog ecosystem, which executes strategic amplification and distribution of blog content. In this role, you will drive digital marketing and blogging best practices in partnership with stakeholder teams, and collaborate with the other Lead to oversee a team of 9 Blog Project Managers and Coordinators. The ideal candidate is a skilled leader with a proven track record in the development of strategic communication plans to increase audience engagement and retention.

What you will do:

Blog Team Management and Client Partner

  • Work with the existing team lead to drive work direction for a team of 9 Blog Project Managers and Coordinators

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $100,000

This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
