Credit Controller

Summary

Join Employment Hero as a Credit Controller in the Finance department to work across multiple revenue streams for Accounts Receivable collections. This is a 3-month contract position supporting the APAC timezone with a possibility to be converted to Full-time.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Credit Controller or Accounts Receivable role, preferably with exposure to managing multiple revenue streams from a SaaS software business
• Proficiency in AR software and automation tools (experience with Netsuite, Upflow, Zuora and Zendesk is a plus)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in handling customer inquiries professionally
• Analytical mindset, capable of generating insights from AR data and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Intermediate excel skills

Responsibilities

• Timely application of payments received from customers in the bank
• Proactively contact customers via phone and email to follow up on overdue payments and resolve any payment issues or disputes
• Prepare and maintain regular Account Receivable reports, including aging reports, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and other key metrics to support cash flow management
• Proactively use software systems to determine overdue accounts
• Use AR software and automation tools to streamline collection processes, update workflows and send reminders
• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, and Finance) to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payment processes
• Identify opportunities to improve credit control processes and workflows, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency
