Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in programming applications and developing custom solutions
  • Working experience with ServiceNow
  • Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) & ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Experience implementing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software
  • Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Proven ability to plan, design, develop, and maintain web-based and client-server applications
  • Experience with system analysis, design, and project management, with a detailed knowledge of application development and implementation
  • Strong documentation skills, with experience documenting test conditions, analyzing test results, and troubleshooting application issues
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software using agile methodologies such as SAFe
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design, and implement features
  • Develop and modify web-based applications, client-server applications, and OS scripts for process automation
  • Utilize relational database management systems (RDBMS) and Structured Query Language (SQL) to design and implement solutions
  • Plan, document, code, modify, test, and implement custom applications and scripts
  • Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software with existing architecture
  • Document test conditions, create test data, and perform program testing; analyze results to ensure the highest quality output
  • Conduct thorough program and production problem analysis to identify and resolve issues
  • Apply Systems Development Methodology (SDM) for designing, building, and enhancing applications
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to define system requirements, draft program specifications, and align technology solutions with business needs
  • Work on multiple project requests simultaneously, managing priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations for system enhancements
  • Coordinate system testing and assist users with acceptance testing to ensure successful implementation
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data and process models
  • Participate in developing work plans and organizing project resources for optimal performance
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Perform unit and integration testing and develop automated test cases
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nuvolo Clinical EAM Platform experience – Strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C#
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular or React
  • NoSQL experience
  • VA or VHA experience
