Remote DevOps Expert

We currently have a vacancy for a DevOps Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Provide a docker compose.yaml file that encapsulates all internal services required for the application to run locally, including the following dependencies, along with data migration scripts which will prepare any docker volumes required: VTiger CRM, LDAP, GitLab, Cortex/JoeSandbox, FileCloud;

• Comprehensive documentation detailing how to set up and run the dockerised environment for application, including clear instructions for developers to bring up the tool on localhost;

• Ensure the dockerised environment works seamlessly with the application, testing all components and dependencies to verify functionality and compatibility;

• A final handoff of the dockerised environment, including a walkthrough or presentation to the software development team, ensuring they understand how to use and maintain the setup;

• Offer limited post-handoff support to resolve any issues during initial deployment.

• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;

• Extensive experience in docker and containerization: Proven expertise in containerizing complex applications using Docker and docker-compose, with a focus on creating self-contained environments for development and testing;

• Experience with Python;

• Expertise in Security Tools like Cortex and JoeSandbox;

• Experience with Gitlab, FastAPI and FileCloud;

• Knowledge of Directory Services (LDAP/Active Directory) and CRM Systems (VTiger CRM);

• Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation and guides for developers to follow;

• Excellent command of the English language.
