Requirements

  • Ability to be a strategic partner to the organization and identify & plan how to meet future needs of the organization
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated leader of developer tooling acting as an advisor to other leaders on relevant trends and emerging issues
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of managers and professionals and identify opportunities to grow and develop the team
  • Ability to evangelize best practices and promote consistent standards including test automation, observability, and performance metrics
  • Experience leading teams that work with cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Develop plans and anticipate the needs for incident response, security and compliance audits

Responsibilities

  • Develops business plans and operational priorities to meet goals and objectives of the organization
  • Facilitate processes for the delivery of scalable and high-quality systems products for autonomous driving vehicles and support systems
  • Collaborates with other management and teams as needed to meet goals, monitor team performance, and achieve objectives
  • Responsible for understanding the technical domain of the team’s software services
  • Accountable and responsible for career development and coaching of the team
  • Accountable and responsible for selection and performance management of their teams
  • Accountable and responsible for ensuring continuous performance feedback is delivered and compensation analysis in close collaboration with peer managers and People Operations
