Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA) or 13+ years of relevant work experience
  • 5 years’ experience in leadership roles
  • Solid understanding of compliance frameworks like SOX, SOC, NIS, etc
  • Experience creating and leveraging process flows, control matrices, narratives, and standard operating procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders, including the Audit Committee and external auditors
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve complex problems, and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects, including readiness, planning, execution, and monitoring of organizational wide SOX compliance initiatives
  • Proven record of defining technology roadmap, executing defined technology strategies, and driving adoption across a large enterprise
  • Extensive experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing large-scale production solutions
  • Experience in container ecosystems - Docker, Kubernetes, and Service Mesh
  • Experience with Continuous Integration pipeline tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Helm and Ansible
  • Strong analytical skills and able to work independently to solve sophisticated engineering problems
  • Proven ability to lead with passion and execute vision with little guidance and ability to make independent judgments and decisions within established guidelines
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve complex problems, and manage multiple projects efficiently

The Job

As a Director of the Production Engineering organization, you will enjoy the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment where your expertise and leadership are valued as you help to modernize the future of Core Scientific’s Mining and HPC Operations.

You will be challenged with overseeing a team of high-performing engineers tasked with ideating, designing, developing, testing, and implementing products, services and applications that continue to differentiate our capabilities from our competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term strategies for ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and objectives.

Location To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states; TX, ND, SD, OK, MN, AR, KY, TN, GA, FL, SC, NC.

This job operates in a professional office environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment, such as laptop computers and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to site, stand, walk, use both hands, and lift up to 20 lbs.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, remote position. General hours and work days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.; some nights and weekends may be required.
