Remote Electrician

Summary

Join National Power as an Electrician in the Detroit, MI area and work in other states as necessary. The successful candidate will have the ability to independently assess the needs of a job based on schematics or blueprints but may also carry out assignments based on written and oral instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Associate degree in an Electrical or related field preferred
• Minimum of 6 years in commercial electrical work (experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus)
• Journeyman Electrician License is preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and service electrical systems
• Source or fabricate replacement electrical components
• Interpret blueprints and carry out work accordingly, with knowledge of the NEC
• Guide and oversee other electricians as necessary
• Obtain required equipment, tools, and materials for projects
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Provide assistance during emergencies
• Update project records and prepare relevant documents and reports
