Remote Engineering Manager

Join our global team at Cognigy as an Engineering Manager to lead and manage software engineering teams, provide resources for skill improvement, and drive initiatives for long-term improvements. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, setting goals, and facilitating communication between disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Managing, mentoring and coaching a team of software engineers
• Provide resources to improve the engineers’ skills
• Goal setting and quarterly assessment of team members
• Training the team according to best practices, to ensure a high-quality product
• Work to remove obstacles blocking the engineers from achieving their objectives
• Setting up organization structures and processes for fast flow and scalability
• Facilitating the communication between engineering disciplines
• Together with the Product Owner and Tech Lead, define and drive initiatives for long term improvements within the team
• Human Resource Management related tasks, such as recruitment, remuneration, career planning, long-term vacation planning
