Remote Engineering Manager

Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of total engineering experience
• Minimum of 3+ years in engineering management, ideally transitioning from Senior or Principal Engineer roles
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams of up to 10+ engineers
• Experience managing at least two agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic, and culture-dependent environment
• Strong hands-on expertise with our tech stack: Java, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, and gRPC
• Demonstrated ability to attract, hire, and coach world-class engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead, architect, and build cutting-edge payment solutions using Java, MariaDB, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, while staying hands-on with development
• Own the full development lifecycle, driving scalability, security, and performance for complex, real-time financial systems
• Collaborate with product teams and leadership to transform business needs into innovative technical solutions that shape the future of payments
• Mentor and grow your team, ensuring high performance and fostering a collaborative, excellence-driven engineering culture
• Work closely with senior engineers and FinTech giants to continuously improve their platform and develop new, customer-centric features
• Ensure systems remain reliable, scalable, and secure while driving best practices in architecture and development
