Remote Engineering Manager, Zero Trust Connectivity

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading and growing software engineering teams working on products from early stage through scale
• Strong technical background Layer 3 and Layer 4 networking
• Technical experience with Linux networking and Rust a bonus
• Excel at planning, creating teams and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability
• Demonstrate a track record of managing a team including hiring, onboarding, and professional development. You inspire your team to reach higher. You’re as good as explaining “why” as you are “how”
• Experience implementing tools, process, internal instrumentation, methodologies and resolving blockages
• Comfortable managing teams/projects in multiple locations and time zones, with tight deadlines and short release cycles
• Focus on clarity in written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of capable engineers across US and Europe to deliver new product functionality while building a system that is reliable and scalable
• Work with various Network Services and Zero Trust teams across Cloudflare to deliver a cohesive customer experience

• Estimated annual salary of $180,000 - $233,000 for Colorado-based hires and Washington hires
• Estimated annual salary of $215,000 - $261,000 for New York City-based and California (excluding Bay Area) hires
