Requirements
- Proven experience in leading ERP implementation projects, preferably within the non-profit sector
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, including modules for HR, Finance, Contract Management, and other core functions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build consensus
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead an organization-wide assessment of current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and alignment with our strategic goals
- Engage with stakeholders across all departments to gather requirements, pain points, and future needs
- Conduct a gap analysis to determine the functionalities required in a new ERP system
- Research and evaluate ERP solutions that align with our organizational needs, budget, and scalability
- Facilitate vendor demonstrations and RFP processes to select the most suitable ERP system
- Present findings and recommendations to the ERP Committee and senior leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for ERP implementation, including timelines, milestones, and risk management strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth transition to the new system
- Oversee data migration, system configuration, testing, and user training
- Monitor the implementation process, address challenges, and ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the initial rollout period
- Develop documentation and training materials to ensure long-term sustainability and expertise within the organization
- Assess the ERP systemβs impact on organizational efficiency and suggest continuous improvement opportunities
