Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading ERP implementation projects, preferably within the non-profit sector
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, including modules for HR, Finance, Contract Management, and other core functions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build consensus
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead an organization-wide assessment of current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and alignment with our strategic goals
  • Engage with stakeholders across all departments to gather requirements, pain points, and future needs
  • Conduct a gap analysis to determine the functionalities required in a new ERP system
  • Research and evaluate ERP solutions that align with our organizational needs, budget, and scalability
  • Facilitate vendor demonstrations and RFP processes to select the most suitable ERP system
  • Present findings and recommendations to the ERP Committee and senior leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for ERP implementation, including timelines, milestones, and risk management strategies
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth transition to the new system
  • Oversee data migration, system configuration, testing, and user training
  • Monitor the implementation process, address challenges, and ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the initial rollout period
  • Develop documentation and training materials to ensure long-term sustainability and expertise within the organization
  • Assess the ERP system’s impact on organizational efficiency and suggest continuous improvement opportunities
