Remote Group Product Manager, Machine Learning

Join us in making it easier and more fun for people to talk and hang out before, during, and after playing games as the Group Product Manager on Machine Learning. You'll drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Discord's Machine Learning Platform and its Applications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and shipping great software
• BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, physics, economics, or related field or equivalent years of experience
• Experience in applying machine learning to consumer tech
• Familiarity with machine learning basics and trends
• Proven ability to analyze and synthesize data, including writing SQL, Python, and/or R and using BigQuery
• Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers

Responsibilities

• Guide the product philosophy, vision, and roadmap for our ML platform
• Collaborate deeply with Applied ML, ML Platform, and Data Science to build our ML Roadmap
• Stay up to date on the latest ML frameworks and tools to ensure that Discord keeps up with the fast moving world of ML
• Work across all product teams to identify and drive opportunities for how ML should be used
