Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in genetic testing with evidence of increasing responsibility; significant oncology experience preferred
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in rapidly growing organizations
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence senior leaders within healthcare organizations
- Deep understanding of the genetic testing market, including key players, regulatory environment, and industry trends
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and improving patient outcomes. Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of Helix’s genetic testing programs and services within existing and future partner organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in health systems and provider groups, including service line leaders, physician champions, genetic counselors, and other key stakeholders that influence the use of genetic testing services and programs
- Execute the sales process by identifying and engaging appropriate stakeholders to drive product adoption and increased order volume
- Maintain a deep understanding of our genetic tests and supporting programs, the competitive landscape, and industry trends
- Gather and analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform sales strategies and business decisions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Market Development, and Partner Success, to meet the needs of our customers
- Provide regular sales reports and updates, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities
