  • Troubleshoot basic networking, application, database, and Linux and Windows operating systems from an end-user perspective
  • Work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Support direct customer interfaces with strong customer service orientation

Job description

Phoenix Cyber is looking for a Help Desk Team Lead to join our client delivery team. This is a remote, work-from-home position with the possibility of minimal travel within the continental United States.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an advanced IT support role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
  • Solid foundation in basic networking, application, database, and Linux and Windows operating systems troubleshooting from an end-user perspective
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team in a 24x7 operations environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong customer service orientation and a history of supporting direct customer interfaces
  • Experience with other IT service management tools
  • Knowledge of network and server infrastructure
  • Experience with ticketing system
  • Strong technical skills in networking, application management, database management, and operating system administration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and six years of relevant experience in a leadership role in end user support activities, ten years of IT-related and including six years of relevant experience in a leadership role in end user support activities.
  •  Microsoft or Azure Certification preferred
