Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, human resources, organizational behavior or related field
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ directly related work experience in Human Resources in a business partner capacity providing direct support to front-line business leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior business leaders to drive strategic business decisions while balancing the need for tactical execution of HR processes and workflows
  • Direct experience supporting diverse business operations
  • Strong leadership capabilities with proven track record to cultivate an environment of positive employee engagement and trust
  • Proven ability to establish credibility, coupled with the ability to recognize and support the organizationโ€™s preferences and priorities
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative leadership style; ability to create and maintain effective relationships across the enterprise to drive required results
  • Strong written/ verbal communication skills; strong social skills and presentation abilities with the ability to effectively connect with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills; solid decision-making capabilities coupled with the ability to analyze situations and provide practical recommendations. Good judgment
  • Effective at leading multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands, coordinate time and resources to deliver consistent results for the business and bring initiatives to successful completion

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
  • Provide daily support for a myriad of HR issues
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives
  • Implement and manage performance enablement strategies (OKRs, manager feedback, measurement)
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative survey data to continuously improve the employee experience
  • Help drive organizational health initiatives
  • Foster positive workplace relationships, resolve conflicts, and promote a healthy work culture
  • Analyze HR metrics and employee data to inform strategic decisions
  • Lead compliance with Sonatype policies, processes, and practices
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local employment practices and labor laws
  • Role model Sonatype ethical standards, integrity, and code of conduct
  • Lead in drafting and communicating HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to employees and management
  • Mentor and coach leaders and employees, promoting professional growth and development
  • Adjust strategies quickly in response to changing business needs
  • Manage multiple HR projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective implementation
  • Work with assigned business unit leaders and relevant tools (i.e. Mercer, Talent Neuron) to prepare compensation packages for new roles and make recommendations for salary increases and bonuses for current employees
