  • Proven track record of shipping at least 2-3 console titles or 4-5 PC titles
  • Responsible for delivering projects on budget, on time, to requirements, and with high quality
  • Able to analyze and evaluate technical risks within the scope of a project and make judicious recommendations
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

  • Should be competent presenting technical information to a range of audiences including non-technical audiences
  • Takes an active role in the hiring process with the business and recruitment team for the creation and development of the Game Dev team

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other departments
  • Present technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Job description

As a Lead Game Programmer at KWS Mexico City, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our development projects. You will build a team and lead these talented engineers, ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to deliver high-quality code. You will also collaborate with the studio head to develop business leads and contribute to the studio’s growth plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:

  • Define and maintain technical standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate with game designers and producers to ensure technical feasibility.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • Project Management:
