Remote Lead Web Development Instructor

Summary

Join our team as a Lead Instructor and play a key role in shaping the future of software engineers, CTOs, and founders. As a technical leader in Web Development, you will lead teach online class sessions, plan engaging lessons, and work with co-instructors to ensure program KPIs are met.

Requirements

• Computer science (or related field) degree, or comparable experience working in/learning Web Development
• 1+ year of professional experience employed in a Web Development role
• In-depth knowledge of full-stack web development including React
• Understanding of Node, Express, and PostgreSQL preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead teach the lecture portion of online class sessions of approximately 300 college students
• Plan for lessons to be highly engaging and industry relevant, with CodePath provided curriculum
• Work with the Program Manager to oversee the course and work with other co-instructors as needed
• Participate in syncs with instructors and teaching assistants leading up to the start of the course, as an onboarding and to make sure instructors feel well prepared to run effective sessions during the program
• Participate in check-ins with instructors during the course, shadowing some of the other instructor’s sessions, and providing instructors feedback
• Use course feedback to implement course improvements and propose curriculum changes that ensure KPIs are met

Benefits

$75 — $100 USD per hour (Candidate hourly rate is dependent on experience)
