Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in sponsorship sales or a related sales environment. Experience in the MSP Vendor Channel is a plus, but not required
- High energy, gritty, driven, and passionate about sales with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Proven track record of successfully exceeding sales goals, demonstrating a consistent ability to drive revenue
- Demonstrated accountability for goals and a history of achieving success through effective metric and KPI management
- Motivated, coachable, and competitive individual with an enterprising spirit, showcasing resilience and a drive to excel
- Energetic team player possessing exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM applications, for effective management of leads, opportunities, and accounts
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of sponsor accounts to foster strong relationships
- Ensure timely annual renewals of sponsorships for all events
- Serve as the primary contact for sponsors throughout their engagement to ensure satisfaction and partnership growth
- Understand sponsor needs and align them with event opportunities
- Communicate the value of our sponsorship offerings effectively
- Address sponsor concerns and challenges in a proactive manner
- Drive additional revenue by cross-selling sponsorship opportunities across all global events
- Work with the Director of Event Sponsorship to identify and grow strategic sponsor partners (hardware, cloud, data, AI)
- Work with the Director of Event Sponsorship to ensure regular outreach to current and new integration partners to drive sponsorship sales
- Collaborate with sponsorship and internal teams (marketing, event planning, creative services) to develop compelling sponsorship packages
- Gather and track sponsor performance metrics and sponsor feedback
- Identify upsell opportunities and creatively package sponsorship opportunities
- Create weekly, monthly, and event-by-event forecasting
- Contribute to the overall success and satisfaction of sponsors
