Remote Medical Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant

Summary

Join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist and provide onsite/in-person clinical facilitation and remote administrative duties. Assist patients with behavioral health visits, prepare charts, and support clinicians in their work.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma required
• 1+ year in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
• Medical Assistant or CNA certification a plus
• Basic working knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience in the use of online healthcare tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to maintain full confidentiality and compliance with sensitive medical information, including but not limited to HIPAA protected information and PHI

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients by offering education related to their behavioral health visits
• Providing technical support and assistance for telehealth visits
• Supporting clinicians by accessing vitals and other relevant data from the facility’s EMR
• Procurement of patient referral documents as needed
• Acting as a liaison between the clinicians and the facility staff
• Interacting with staff and/or family members as necessary
• Maintaining responsibility for proper handling and cleaning of MediTelecare equipment
• Completing assigned number of BHI cases within the required timeline
• Providing assistance to assigned clinicians by accessing the facility’s EMR and recording relevant data into our EHR system
• Working closely with the clinician to assure that patient visits run smoothly and efficiently

Benefits

Salary ranges from $18-$23/hour
