  • Provide weekly reports detailing assistance rendered to each agent and identifying knowledge gaps within the field
  • Record all agent interactions in the CRM tool for accurate tracking and trend analysis
  • Adhere to NAS workflows and utilize in-depth interview guides for all agent interactions
  • Execute responsibilities as outlined in the new agent installation matrix for comprehensive support
  • Monitor and report on internal checks and balances to ensure installation duties are performed according to designed processes
  • Provide agent support to meet or exceed established quote and production goals
  • Diagnose and resolve agent issues, directing inquiries to the appropriate internal departments and ensuring timely follow-up

Overview:

Horace Mann is a purpose-driven company that is passionate about educators. The New Agent Support Consultant will proactively support new Exclusive Agents (EAs) to drive agency sales, foster growth, enhance profitability, and ensure long-term success. Cultivate and maintain expertise in all new agent processes, practices, and technologies. This will be a remote position.

This position reports to the Manager, New Agent Support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Engage daily with the agency force and field sales leadership to facilitate effective communication.
    • Collaborate with the field sales leadership team to comprehend and articulate strategies supporting the Agency Business Model (ABM).
  • Agent Support:
    • Serve as a key resource for assigned new agents, providing guidance and support.
    • Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries and requests from Exclusive Agents.
    • Offer accurate guidance and redirection on matters beyond your scope.

  • Performance Support:
    • Provide agent support to meet or exceed established quote and production goals.
    • Diagnose and resolve agent issues, directing inquiries to the appropriate internal departments and ensuring timely follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience with insurance (marketing or service departments.)
  • Product Knowledge: Familiar with Property & Casualty insurance, with the ability to obtain company-sponsored license.
  • Communication Skills: Strong professional written and oral communication skills, capable of effectively communicating at all organizational levels.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Remote normal home office environment.
  • Extended work hours and work weeks are typical to support various time zones.
  • Minimal travel required, less than 10%.
  • Pay Range $58,300.00 - $91,600.00 salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
