Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and practices while fostering a positive employee experience
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure a smooth preboarding for all new hires. This includes coordinating timely communication as well as ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
  • Support the onboarding journey of new employees, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Serve as the point of contact for new employee orientations and check-ins, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure a smooth transition into the company
  • Partner with Learning & Development (L&D) teams to develop and execute initiatives based on employee feedback, aimed at improving the overall employee lifecycle
  • Manage employee records, including maintenance of HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Work closely with the People and Culture Director to analyze employee feedback data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for enhancing the employee experience, while collaborating with the greater P&C team to address any resource gaps or feedback provided by new hires
  • Develop and implement initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Continuously review and improve the onboarding process and other employee experience programs to align with best practices and feedback
  • Ensure the company’s HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on the latest developments in employment law
  • Stay current with trends in employee experience and engagement, bringing innovative ideas to the team, and work on other assigned projects as needed

Job Summary:

The People and Culture Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across various functions to ensure a positive employee experience. This role focuses on delivering HR initiatives that foster engagement, growth, and retention, while supporting the overall culture and values of the organization. The Generalist will utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate HR processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive initiatives that enhance the employee lifecycle. This role is pivotal in creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and practices while fostering a positive employee experience.

Preboarding:

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure a smooth preboarding for all new hires.  This includes coordinating timely communication as well as  ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
