Remote Product Owner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in product management or as a product owner in an Agile environment
• Proven experience managing a product roadmap and backlog
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements
• Experience with data analysis and using customer feedback to drive product decisions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
• Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha!, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects customer needs and company goals
• Write clear and concise user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure development teams have a deep understanding of requirements
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment on priorities and progress
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master and development team during sprint planning to ensure stories are ready and can be completed within the sprint
• Ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements by providing clear requirements, removing obstacles, and making informed decisions during development
• Understand and represent the needs of the customer, utilizing data-driven insights to inform product decisions and improve the user experience
• Analyze and monitor product performance post-launch, gathering feedback and using data to guide future iterations and improvements
