QA Automation Tester

Join Storyteq's Digital Engineering team as a highly talented Automated Tester! You will be part of a cross-functional team building enterprise-grade digital applications for high-profile brands using Agile methodologies and the latest technologies. Responsibilities include creating and improving automation suites, developing tests using Java and Selenium WebDriver, working with development teams to resolve issues, and writing and running test scripts. The ideal candidate possesses experience in QA testing, Selenium WebDriver, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and BDD. A hybrid work model (midlands-based preferred, but remote UK-based considered) is offered. Requirements

• You’re curious, ambitious, and hardworking and thrive in a fast-moving digital environment
• You already have experience in QA testing web-based applications, cross browser functional testing, strong familiarity with bug tracking and reporting applications, plus experience of writing test cases
• Experience of Selenium WebDriver with the Java programming language HTML, CSS and JavaScript and a Working knowledge of BDD (Behaviour Driven Development

Responsibilities

• Creating, developing and improving the automation suites for projects
• Develop our automation tests within our test frameworks using Java as our core development language with selenium Web driver
• Working alongside Development teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues
• Writing and running test scripts and regression suits and accurately recording issues raised

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally, we are looking for midlands-based individuals who are happy to work on a hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote
