Requirements
- Sales Capabilities • Demonstrates foundational sales capabilities, including a strong understanding of the sales funnel and an ability to effectively communicate Kokua’s value to potential school partners to overcome the competition
- Customer Focus • You are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of new School Partners. You act with School Partners in mind and gain their trust and respect
- Negotiating • You negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups
- Relentless Drive for Results • You challenge yourself by setting goals, crushing them, and helping your teammates do the same
- Excellent Communication Skills • Written communications emails are clear and succinct, while sharing your desired message
- Time Management and Organization • Effectively manages time and priorities to meet sales targets and deadlines
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through various methods including cold calling, networking and referrals with new School Networks and own the sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Research and analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities
- Lead the full sales conversation and negotiation, through to the transition of new clients to the operations team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system
- Meet your quota responsibility by developing a healthy and sustainable sales pipeline in line with the addressable market
- Develop excellent relationships with customers where you are credible and trusted
- Expand our existing customer base by building and maintaining relationships with key customers
- Develop sales forecasts and collect, evaluate, and provide market, customer, and competitor intelligence
- Tailor sales pitches to meet the specific needs and pain points of each customer
- Prepare quotations and respond to RFPs
