Remote Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary

Join our team at 3PILLAR GLOBAL in Guatemala as an Accounts Payable Specialist. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional with experience in US and Canadian accounts payable to join our team.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience in accounts payable in the United States and Canada
• Hands-on processing of invoices in the accounting system
• Communication with suppliers to resolve payment problems or questions
• Familiar with following up on Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, invoices, credit card expenses, etc
• Experience in invoices, fixed assets, payments, and accruals
• Experience in accounting records related to accounts payable
• Proficiency in the English language

Responsibilities

• Check and process invoices in the accounting system
• Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues or questions
• Coordinate with other departments to follow up on Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, invoices, credit card expenses, etc
• Ensure compliance with internal policies in the processing of invoices, fixed assets, and payments
• Calculate accruals
• Perform accounting records related to accounts payable
