Remote Accounting Specialist

Join a dynamic and innovative Tech E-commerce Group as an Accounting specialist to support day-to-day accounting functions, help with the monthly close process, and participate in the external audit process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at a Big Accounting firm, specializing in auditing or BPO services for Retail or Ecommerce companies
• 1+ years of experience as Senior at a Big Accounting firm, specializing in auditing or BPO services for Retail or E-commerce companies, combined with 2+ years as a Senior or Specialist in Accounting within a Retail company
• Experience with inventory valuation analysis and reconciliation is a must
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must
• Advanced Excel is a must
• Strong accounting experience. IFRS is a must. SOX / US GAAP is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support in the accounting closing process, to accomplish timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures for certain key balance sheet and income statement accounts (including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations)
• Preparation of the monthly analytical review of the main accounts fluctuations
• Responsible for the accounts payable monthly reconciliation process
• Responsible for the payment processors balances monthly reconciliation process
• Responsible for the Shipping and Fulfillment cost monthly analysis and reconciliation, leading the topic, from the Accounting Department, in the corresponding Squad
• Responsible for the Wholesales monthly reconciliation process (including invoices and payments control and commissions records), leading the topic, from the Accounting Department, in the corresponding Squad and Tribe
