Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience; Combination of public accounting and industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 606
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month end/year end close process is strongly preferred
  • Experience with financial audit preparation is strongly preferred
  • Proven proficiency in Excel and Google suite products
  • Excellent writing, oral communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills; project management experience a plus, ability to work in a fast pace environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts payable functions, including reviewing vendor invoices, and managing vendor approvals and payments
  • Manage the Revenue and Order-to-Cash process, including invoice processing, collections and ASC 606 reporting
  • Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and processes to streamline close and build scalable solutions to support the growth of the Company
  • Manage tax and employment compliance in various states, countries and entities
  • Utilize financial software systems (e.g. Quickbooks, Salesforce, Anrock, Ramp, Bill.com , Gusto, Remote.com )
  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, Bank Reconciliations, prepaids, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Build or enhance balance sheet account reconciliations including reviewing and performing some clean-up of historical reconciliations and related balances
  • Assist in the preparation of various financial statements, such as balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
  • Identify and drive process improvements to gain efficiencies and reduce close timelines
  • Assist in annual financial statement audit, preparing audit schedules & other audit requests, and interacting directly with external audit staff
