Remote Senior AI/ML Engineer

Summary

Join SES AI as a Machine Learning Engineer and contribute to the development of advanced Li-Metal batteries. Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for battery state estimation and performance prediction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras
• Strong statistical analysis and data visualization skills
• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in performance prediction and state estimation applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for battery state estimation and performance prediction
• Fine-tune pre-trained models and establish the fine-tuning process and framework
• Gather and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency
• Conduct system diagnostic and status estimation using supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques
• Develop predictive models to forecast battery performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting for model development and safety analysis processes
