Senior App Manager

Summary

Join our team as a Senior App Manager and play a crucial role in building and maintaining our coupon website's mobile application. As a leader, you will manage a small team of developers, address technical debt, prioritize the backlog, and troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in mobile app development, particularly with React and Expo
• Proven experience in team management and project leadership
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment processes

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
• Oversee code reviews, ensuring high-quality coding standards
• Design, develop, and maintain the mobile application using React and Expo
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create an engaging and user-friendly interface
• Identify, prioritize, and address technical debt to enhance performance and maintainability
• Implement best practices in code management and software development
• Work closely with product management to maintain and prioritize the development backlog
• Ensure timely delivery of features and improvements
• Investigate and resolve application issues reported by users or identified during testing
• Continuously monitor application performance and make improvements as necessary
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for the codebase, development processes, and troubleshooting guides

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with coupon or e-commerce applications
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for mobile applications
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)
