Remote Senior Consultant Test Automation

Requirements

• Good IT skills based on a technical or scientific degree or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of experience in test automation
• Experience in concepting and implementing test automation processes
• Experience in test case design and realization
• Experience with Cucumber / Gerkhin
• Knowledge in automation tools, like Selenium, Robot Framework or Playwright
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Amazon AWS, GitLab CI/CD)
• Experience with Docker Containers, ideally Kubernetes
• Programming skills in the area of test automation frameworks (e.g. Java, Python etc.)
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Fluent German language skills and good English command

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on planning, coordination, and implementation of automated software testing in agile projects
• Implement test automation solutions in environments containing microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes, according to functional and technical specifications
• Develop test automation components based on test automation frameworks
• Support the evaluation and implementation of suitable test automation tools
• Perform, analyze, and document automated and manual test runs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing microservices
• Knowledge about Jira, Confluence
• ISTQB certified
