Requirements

• A juris doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar certified to practice law in at least one state in the U.S
• 5+ years experience as a labor and employment attorney with relevant in-house and/or law firm experience
• Excellent oral and written communications skills

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house legal counsel on contract and product-related matters
• Negotiate, draft, and review customer and vendor contracts
• Advise internal teams on labor and employment regulations and best practices
• Supervise, manage, and evaluate outside counsel on labor and employment related matters
• Support the EPD team by advising on labor, employment, and tax laws and regulations
• Support the People team by advising on labor and employment-related matters
• Support the Operations and Tax team by advising on labor, employment, and tax matters
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and manage projects with a team-oriented approach
• Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within labor and employment
• Review, negotiate, and draft agreements with customers and vendors
• Educate clients and stakeholders on legal matters, policies, and procedures
• Establish and maintain relationships, credibility, and trust with stakeholders
