Job description

As a Senior Data Analyst at Hubstaff, you will play a crucial role in driving our data-driven culture and decision-making process. Your expertise in data analysis, modeling, strategic insight, and product solutions will help shape our growth team to move quickly, launch experiments and improve our products onboarding and retention.

Key Responsibilities

These are some of the main tasks you will be executing:

  • Data Analysis: Perform complex data analysis to extract insights that influence strategic decisions.

  • Model Development: Develop and implement statistical models to analyze trends and customer behavior.

  • Product Experiments: Able to identify business opportunities, connect them to customer needs, run experiments, prove outcomes, and move quickly.

  • Communicating Insights: Effectively communicate complex analytical insights.

  • Project Management: Manage and oversee data-related projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver valuable insights.

  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in analysis.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record in a similar role.

  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

  • This professional will be hired as a contractor. You shall expect a salary range between 35 USD / Hour and 40 USD / Hour (based on the expertise and experience of the professional).
  • We get the whole team together on our Annual Retreats to have fun while traveling and getting to know each other! So, while 2020 had us virtually meeting because of the pandemic, we met in person in the Dominican Republic in 2022, in Mexico in 2023, and Ibiza (Spain) this year. We are now preparing an incredible annual retreat for the next year.
